Neville Seabury

Neville served in the 2nd World War in New Guinea and he belonged to the 29th Infantry Brigade. He was a good, integral, loving Father with an infectious laugh, great sense of humour and very talented in singing and dancing. Neville loved Christmas and enjoyed adding nick nacks to presents to make it extra special and wanted children to believe in Santa forever.

Neville was 8 weeks shy of meeting his first great great grandchild, but managed to see her features via 3D ultrasound images, talk to her and give her an affectionate pat.

Neville loved his garden and his collection of books and DVD'S on many topics, although boxing, horseracing and dancing were his favourite. On numerous special occasions and especially more so over the last couple of years, he attended church and became increasingly interested in Biblical things. He loved his beautiful wife, Pam, with all his heart and never stopped even after the 18th June 2017, when she passed into Glory to be with her personal Saviour, Jesus. After her passing, Neville frequently spoke to Yvonne, his eldest daughter and Sharon, his eldest grandchild, about Biblical things and made them aware of his personal confession of faith, prayers and Bible reading.

The last few months were a time of getting business matters in order, surrendering his worldly possessions to his loved ones, as he had accepted God's will that he had reached a full age. Neville longed to be in Jesus' awesome presence, reunited on the golden streets of heaven, with his beautiful wife Pam, his mother, Florence and no doubt other family members and friends. It was a God-given blessing that Neville did not suffer in pain and on October 11th 2017, went into a deep sleep and on October 12th 2017 at 4.30 am he woke again in heaven.

"If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in salvation." Romans 10:9-10
